WATER FORECASTING
Seoul, Korea / November 17th, 2025
We spread our messages, thoughts, and emotions through postal mail; nowadays, via
Wifi and the network, we get our information across. But water, it dissminates,
transcends quietly from one stage to the others, in and out of our body, on and off
this planet constantly, without the human's will... what is this phenomenon? And the
saying "what goes around, what comes around" echoes in thoughts... that is where my
work comes in, as my personal research of the intelligence behind.

한때 우리는 편지를 통해 마음과 생각, 감정을 주고받았습니다. 오늘날에는 와이파이와 네
트워크를 통해 정보가 흐릅니다. 그러나 물은 다릅니다. 물은 인간의 뜻과는 무관하게 고요
히 스며들고 흩어지며, 한 상태에서 다른 상태로, 우리의 몸 안팎을 지나 지구 위와 아래를
끊임없이 오갑니다. 이 끝없는 순환은 무엇을 말하고 있는 것일까요?
“돌고 도는 것은 결국 다시 돌아온다”는 오래된 격언이 제 안에서 울려 퍼집니다. 저의
작업은 바로 그 메아리 속에서 태어납니다. 물의 순환이 지닌 지성(知性), 보이지 않는 힘
을 더듬어 찾아가는 개인적 탐구이자 예술적 기록입니다.
